Sopwith Dolphin - looking a bit more like a Sopwith Dolphin now

You can probably tell what it is by now
I've made some real progress over the last few days and it's all looking quite promising, I think.

As you can see from the main photo, I've got the cabane in place, and I've also got round to attaching the tailplane.

The cabane and Aldis sight were made from various thicknesses of plastic rod. But when it came to the ring-and-bead sight, I just used one from the fret that came with the Mini World Lewis guns I ordered a while ago. No point making work for yourself and then getting worse results.


And here's how the cockpit area looks now:

I'm beginning to believe I might actually finish this project in the near future.
