Sopwith Dolphin - Vickers guns in place

I've finally got the Vickers guns into place and I'm quite pleased with how they look.

Most of the day was spent adding tiny little details. In the picture below you can see the leather pads that gave some protection to the pilot (the guns must have been inches from his chest), and the wooden knobs for the loading handles - I made these out of tiny pellets of Milliput.

Once I got the guns into place I even managed to use some of the ammo from my Mini World guns and show one or two links feeding into the guns.
